Reminders

Reminders that go out by themselves

Surrounders reminds both sides of every booking by itself: customers 1 day and 10 minutes before unless they pick other times, professionals 1 day and 2 hours before or at up to five times they choose.

Reminders arrive as push notifications and in Notifications, quiet hours keep the night free, and email can be turned on for each kind of message.

Fewer no-shows, on both sides

Who is reminded, and when?

Both sides of every booking, without anyone pressing a button. Each person picks their own times.

Your customers

Remind me before, on each booking: 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1 day, as many as they like. 1 day and 10 minutes are on unless they change them.

You

Remind me before each session: up to five of 1 day, 4 hours, 2 hours, 1 hour, 30 minutes and 10 minutes. 1 day and 2 hours are on until you change them, and one booking can have its own.

Where your notifications arrive

Push, email or in the app?

You choose for each kind, in Settings under Notifications: Email, Push and In-app for Reminders, Messages, Bookings, Reviews, Social and System.

Push and in-app start on for every kind. Email starts on for Bookings and System, and off for Reminders, Reviews and Social.

Quiet at night

No push notifications from 21:00 to 08:00, unless you change the hours or turn it off. Reminders for a session starting soon are always delivered.

One notification, not two

With the iPhone app installed, your notifications come to the app, not to a browser, so nothing arrives twice.

What else you are told

What else does Surrounders tell you?

A request close to lapsing, 12 and 2 hours before; a change of time; a cancellation; "I'm running late"; a group date that moved. Each arrives where your settings say.

Fewer no-shows, without a single text.
