How to book a service on Surrounders
To book a service on Surrounders, open the service, pick a date and a time in its booking box and confirm: signed out, with your email and a 6-digit code instead of a password; signed in, by checking the booking summary and sending it.
Some services are confirmed at once and others are a request the professional has 48 hours to answer, and you always pay the professional directly, never through Surrounders.

How do you book a service on Surrounders?
Five steps, in the words you will see on the screen. No password at any point.
- Find the serviceIn Explore, by search, category or the language you speak, or from a professional's own link.
- Open the booking boxOn a phone, press Book Now; on a computer the box is already beside the service. Its steps are When, then Where if the service happens in more than one place, then Confirm.
- Pick a date and a timeOne-time or Recurring when the service offers both, then Select a date and Select a time.
- Confirm, signed outGive your email and press Send code, then type the 6-digit code we send you (or use Continue with Google), add your name if you are new, and press Confirm booking.
- Confirm, signed inCheck the Booking summary (what, when, where, the price and Remind me before), then press Request booking.
Instant or a request
Is it booked at once?
Some professionals confirm every booking at once; with the others a booking is a request that waits up to 48 hours for the professional's answer. Either way, you are told when it is confirmed.
Paying
You pay the professional directly, never through Surrounders. There is no deposit and no card on file.
After you book
What can you do once it is booked?
Everything is on the booking's own page, under My Bookings: message the professional, Reschedule to ask to move it, Cancel Booking, Add to calendar, and directions to the place.
Stay safe
Will anyone ask you to pay online?
Surrounders never asks you to pay online. If someone in a chat asks for a card number or a payment link, open the chat's menu (the three dots) and press Report this conversation.
